Overview
We are seeking enthusiastic, honest and dedicated Team Member to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be the face of our company, providing exceptional customer service while assisting customers with their needs. Your ability to communicate effectively and manage time efficiently will be key in ensuring a positive shopping experience.

This is not just a summer position, preferred candidates are expected to have availability beyond summer.

Responsibilities

- Greet and assist customers in a friendly and professional manner, prep, chop vegetables, prepare food items for the restaurant and wash dishes. Multi tasking is a must.
- Operate the cash register, handling transactions accurately and efficiently.
- Utilize basic math skills to process payments and provide change.
- Engage with customers to understand their needs and recommend products effectively.
- Upsell additional products or services to enhance customer satisfaction.
- Maintain an organized and clean work environment, ensuring merchandise is displayed properly.




- Answer phone calls with proper etiquette, addressing customer inquiries or directing them as needed.
- Collaborate with team members to achieve sales goals and improve overall store performance.

Experience

- Previous experience in food retail environment is highly preferred
- Strong communication skills with the ability to engage customers effectively.
- Basic kitchen preparation
- Familiarity with food sales, safety and cleanliness is highly preferred as well as an interest in learning about new products.
- Excellent organizational skills to manage tasks efficiently in a busy workplace.
- Proven time management abilities to prioritize tasks effectively while maintaining quality service.
