What You'll Do
- Load, unload, and move products and materials to designated locations in the warehouse, assisting in picking and placing orders
- Check received orders and confirm that all inventory transactions are completed and documented
- Load, unload, and move products and materials by hand or with warehouse equipment
- Assist in taking inventory and weighing and checking materials as required
- Pick orders and prepare for shipping, including stacking, wrapping, and crating products
- Perform other handling duties such as counting, weighing, and sorting
- Put away received materials to proper storage locations
- Participate in clean-up and maintenance
- Adhere to all company policies and procedures and contribute to a healthy and safe workplace
- Perform other related duties as required
Where You'll Work
This is a full-time,
onsite role based at our Chilliwack distribution centre. You'll work in a fast-paced warehouse environment alongside a dependable team, with a strong focus on safety, accuracy, and efficiency. This role requires the ability to stand for extended periods and safely lift and move materials of varying weight and size on a regular basis.
What You Bring
Education and Experience
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 1+ years of experience in a similar role in a warehouse or distribution environment
- Experience in the protected and efficient use of warehouse equipment, including pallet jacks, reach trucks, and forklifts
Skills and Abilities
- Knowledge of safe lifting and handling techniques
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy in receiving, inventory, and order fulfillment
- Reliable and consistent, with an understanding of the impact this role has on the broader team
- Committed to workplace safety: for yourself and your teammates
- Able to work independently and as part of a team
