MPA are retained by a leading clinic group to recruit for a Family Physician for their practice based in Vancouver. The group have various entities in primary care and prevention/longevity care.
They focus on comprehensive healthcare programs that are adopted to provide a preventative approach to disease and primary care. The model of care is designed to give Physicians the chance to spend time with their patients, typically 30 minute to 1 hour appointment times.
Their preventative model begins with a length analysis of patients' health history and completing a comprehensive health assessment, from these a tailored detailed plan is devised for each patient with ongoing testing and assessments to prevent disease and catch illnesses early.
You will be expected to see 8 - 12 patients per day allowing you time with patients to provide compassionate, comprehensive care.
Requirements
- Graduation from an approved medical school and completion of two years of family medicine residency training.
- You need to be a registered Family Physician eligible to work in BC.
- Licensure with the College of Physicians and Surgeons.
- Experience in primary care for patients of all ages
- Robust clinical skills and experience in a multidisciplinary team environment.
