The Bertossi Group has set the standard for fine dining in Halifax for over 30 years, with six current destination restaurants: Water Polo, Matadora, Via Condotti, Ristorante a Mano, The Bicycle Thief & il Mercato Trattoria, as well as two luxury Cafes: Pane e Circo.

Job Description

We are looking for someone who has experience providing show-stopping hospitality in fast-paced, high-volume cafes. Our Baristas / Cafe Servers will bring professional, enthusiastic hospitality & and contribute to the incredible success of Atlantic Canada's leading cafes. Our Baristas / Cafe Servers are known for creating unique connections with guests from their first to last moment in the cafe.

The Day to Day:





- Complete dedication to providing The Bertossi Group’s incredible standard for hospitality
- High quality production of espresso based beverages, craft cocktails, as well as efficient service of gourmet pastries & hot prepared dishes
- Full knowledge of all food and beverage offerings in order assist guests with menu selections, including all modifications for dietary restrictions and allergens
- Impeccable table maintenance, and willingness to assist with clearing tables, running food & beverages, cleaning dishes & maintaining the overall cleanliness and organization of the cafe and storage spaces
- Ensures proper health and safety procedures are followed by all team members
- Secure & efficient completion of all side-duties, including opening & closing duties
