Langeman Manufacturing, a small privately owned company that designs and builds spray equipment for protective coatings (including spray-on truck bedliners) and related automotive products, is hiring an experienced hands-on Mechanical Technician.
This is a shop-floor role focused on assembling, troubleshooting, and repairing machinery and new equipment. You will also handle the full range of workshop tasks. In addition, you will be trained on our spray equipment, become proficient in applying spray-on truck liners, learn to train new customers, and provide technical support on the equipment itself.
We are looking for candidates with strong mechanical aptitude and solid hands-on experience in troubleshooting and repairing equipment. Experience repairing outdoor rental equipment, landscape machinery, utility vehicles, commercial mowers, or similar outdoor power equipment is highly valued, as these skills transfer directly to the work we do.
Candidates who also have general machining and/or welding/fabricating skills will have a stronger chance of being selected.
You must be physically capable of all workshop functions, have a high work ethic, work independently without constant supervision, and be willing to learn new skills as a team player in a small shop workplace. This is not a management or supervisory position.
