Job Summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented Accounting Assistant to support our growing operations. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with QuickBooks (Desktop & Online) and Sage, and a strong understanding of day-to-day accounting functions.
This role is critical in maintaining accurate financial records and supporting our accounting processes across multiple platforms.
Responsibilities
- Manage Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable (AP/AR), including invoicing, billing, and collections
- Perform bank and credit card reconciliations
- Maintain accurate data entry and financial records in QuickBooks and Sage
- Assist with payroll processing
- Support monthly financial reporting
- Ensure proper filing, data organization, and record management across all systems
- Assist with HR operations and support as required
Experience
- Proven experience with QuickBooks Desktop, QuickBooks Online (QBO), and Sage
- Strong understanding of basic bookkeeping and accounting principles
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel
- High level of accuracy and attention to detail
- Must have a strong grip on filing, data organization, and record management
- Accounting diploma or degree preferred
