Gastech Systems Ltd. is a leading mechanical contractor specializing in commercial and residential HVAC and plumbing solutions across Ontario. We are growing our team and seeking an experienced Project Manager to oversee new construction projects across ICI and multi-storey residential sectors.This is a hybrid role based out of our Woodbridge, ON office, with regular site visits to active project locations. You will play a central role in driving project success from award through to closeout — coordinating with owners, consultants, subcontractors, and internal teams to deliver quality mechanical work on time and on budget.Key Responsibilities
Manage the full project lifecycle for new construction ICI and multi-storey residential HVAC and plumbing projectsDevelop and maintain project schedules, budgets, and cost tracking reportsCoordinate with general contractors, consultants, engineers, and building ownersOversee subcontractor procurement, scope review, and contract administrationConduct regular site visits to monitor progress, quality, and safety complianceLead project meetings and provide timely updates to stakeholders and senior managementManage RFIs, submittals, change orders, and project documentationIdentify and mitigate project risks proactivelySupport project closeout including commissioning,



deficiency resolution, and warranty managementQualifications & Requirements
Minimum 3 years of project management experience in the HVAC and/or plumbing tradeProven experience managing ICI (Institutional, Commercial, Industrial) and/or multi-storey residential construction projectsSolid understanding of mechanical systems, construction drawings, and specificationsFamiliarity with Ontario Building Code and applicable trade standardsExperience with subcontractor and supplier managementStrong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skillsProficiency in project management software and Microsoft Office SuiteJourneyperson trade certification (HVAC or plumbing) is considered a strong assetValid driver's licence and ability to travel to project sitesCompensation & Benefits
