A busy multi-family residential builder in the Edmonton area needs a Project Manager to run the construction side of their wood-frame and concrete developments.
You'll be juggling multiple buildings and multiple inspection cycles at once. If that sounds like chaos you enjoy managing, keep reading.
Duties include but are not limited to:
- Run multi-family construction projects from preconstruction through occupancy
- Manage budgets, schedules, and procurement across multiple buildings or phases
- Work directly with municipal inspectors and authorities having jurisdiction
- Direct site teams and subtrades to keep every phase on track
- Maintain strong relationships with the client, consultants, and subcontractors
- Handle contracts, change orders, and subcontract agreements
- Keep every phase of the project safe, on schedule, and on budget
About You
The successful candidate will have the following:
- 5+ years of project management experience in multi-family or wood-frame residential construction
- Comfortable navigating municipal permitting and inspection processes
- Solid at juggling multiple schedules and subtrades at once
- Clear communicator who keeps a project well-organized
- Construction Management, Engineering, or related education is an asset
About the Job
This is a permanent role with a base salary in the $95,000 to $130,000 range depending on experience, plus benefits and a long-term seat with a growing residential builder.
