Job description:

Role Overview
We are hiring an experienced Senior Dispatcher with strong FTL experience. This role is hands-on and fast-paced, responsible for dispatching trucks, managing dedicated freight, and maintaining explicit communication with drivers and customers.

Key Responsibilities

- Dispatch highway and city trucks
- Communicate with drivers (phone / Samsara)
- Schedule pickups & deliveries; update TMS (Fleet Manager, Excel)
- Manage trailers, yard activity, and equipment




- Provide real-time customer updates (BluJay, E2Open, portals)
- Track & trace shipments; update ETAs/ETDs
- Resolve service issues quickly and accurately
- Broker loads when required
- Complete driver trips and maintain accurate order entry
- Proactively plan and manage ~90% dedicated freight

Requirements (Non-Negotiable)

- Minimum 3+ years FTL dispatch or planning experience
- Strong knowledge of GTA/Quebec lanes/USA
- Proficient in Fleet Manager, Excel, Outlook
- Strong problem-solving and multitasking skills
- Calm under pressure, decisive, and detail-oriented
- Clear communicator with drivers and customers
