Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Server to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for providing exceptional customer service in a quick-paced restaurant environment. As a Server, you will be responsible for ensuring that guests have an enjoyable dining experience by delivering food and beverages promptly while maintaining high standards of food safety and sanitation.

Responsibilities

- Greet and seat guests in a friendly and welcoming manner.
- Take accurate food and beverage orders using the POS system, preferably Micros POS.
- Provide recommendations and upsell menu items to enhance the guest experience.
- Serve food and beverages promptly while ensuring accuracy and presentation standards.
- Handle cash transactions efficiently, including cash handling and basic math calculations for guest checks.
- Maintain cleanliness of tables, dining areas, and service stations in accordance with sanitation guidelines.
- Assist with food preparation as needed, ensuring adherence to food safety standards.
- Address guest inquiries and concerns with professionalism to ensure satisfaction.




- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of orders and effective communication during service.
- Participate in training sessions to enhance knowledge of menu items, food handling practices, and customer service techniques.

Requirements

- Previous restaurant experience preferred, particularly in a server role within the food industry.
- Strong time management skills to handle multiple tables efficiently during busy periods.
- Excellent customer service skills with a focus on guest satisfaction.
- Knowledge of food safety regulations and sanitation practices is essential.
- Basic math skills for processing payments accurately.
- Ability to work in a team-oriented environment while also being self-motivated.
- Experience with food handling and preparation is a plus.
- Strong communication skills to interact effectively with guests and team members.
