We are seeking a reliable and skilled Stainless Steel TIG & MIG Welder / Fabricator to join our team in Mission, BC. The successful candidate will be responsible for fabricating, repairing, and maintaining food-grade processing equipment and performing high-quality sanitary stainless-steel welding.

This position is ideal for someone who can work independently, has strong fabrication skills, and takes pride in producing high-quality workmanship.

Responsibilities

- Perform high-quality TIG and MIG welding on stainless steel.
- Fabricate and assemble food-grade processing equipment.
- Read and follow project drawings, specifications, and quality standards.
- Prepare material lists and assist with project planning.
- Work independently with minimal supervision.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work setting.
- Perform light maintenance and repair work on production equipment.
- Repair and maintain:
- Bearings
- Sprockets
- Chains
- Chutes
- Motors
- Gearboxes




- Assist with installation and modification of processing equipment as required.

Requirements

- Proven experience with stainless steel TIG and MIG welding.
- Ability to produce food-grade sanitary welds.
- Experience with fabrication of stainless-steel equipment.
- Ability to pass a practical welding test.
- Basic mechanical maintenance experience considered a strong asset.
- Must be reliable, self-motivated, and able to work alone.
- Strong attention to detail and quality workmanship.
- Valid driver's license preferred.
- No criminal record.
- Property is a non-smoking workplace.

Assets

- Experience working in food processing or manufacturing facilities.
- Experience with mild steel welding and fabrication.
- Knowledge of sanitary stainless-steel standards.
- Mechanical troubleshooting and equipment repair experience.

Pay: $40.00-$42.00 per hour
