General Purpose of Position:

A Cashier is responsible for maintaining outstanding customer service as per Company Standards, processing sales quickly, accurately and efficiently, cash register operations and safeguarding company assets. Ensure that each customer receives outstanding service by providing a friendly environment, which includes greeting and acknowledging every customer, maintaining outstanding standards, solid product knowledge and all other aspects of customer service.

Readily accepts additional responsibilities and duties as assigned. Cross training will be required and will be provided.

Tasks and Responsibilities:

· Receive payment by cash, check, credit cards, vouchers, or automatic debits and issue receipts, refunds, credits or change due to customers

· Maintain an awareness of all promotions and advertisements.

· Maintain a clean and orderly appearance of register area & main entrance Maintain store environment,



including clean and dust product displays and faces the products

· Ensure there’s always enough carts for customers and bring in carts inside the store

· Count money in cash drawers at the beginning and end of shifts to ensure that amounts are correct and that there is adequate change

· Check, replace price tags and assist with putting away stock

· Arrive 15 minutes early for your shift to count till.

· Receive customers’ requests by telephone, analyzes requests, provides information requested or ascertains who can best provide the information and route the request to the proper person

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $21.00 per hour
