QUALIFICATIONS:

- Minimum 2 years’ experience in community / Group home setting preferred
- G license and reliable vehicle and Insurance policy
- Diploma in Personal Support Worker (P.S.W. with NACC), DSW, CSW, DDW, and/or Registered Practical Nurse (RPN) Diploma from an Accredited Canadian educational institution preferred.




- A current valid Standard First Aid and CPR Level C certificate
- Crisis Prevention Intervention or Safe Management Certificate or BCM - valid or willing to obtain
- Medical Pharmacology Certificate or willing to obtain from Humber College, Reena, or Dominion College.
- Vulnerable Sector Check – Valid within 6 Months
- Proof of Covid -19 Vaccination 2 Dose
- Recent Drivers Abstract for BCCL to review (within 30 days)

Specific Skills/Duties: Assist and Support individuals with Special needs (Intellectual and physical). Provides support within the group home promoting a clean, safe, and enhancing environment. Perform light housekeeping and cleaning; Provide personal care; Administer bedside and personal care; Aid with bathing and other aspects of personal hygiene take outings into the community and engage.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Casual

Pay: $19.00-$20.00 per hour
