River District Dentistry is seeking an EXPERIENCED dental admin professional to augment our front office operations and patient coordination.

After 7 years of growth and a major clinic expansion, we're looking for someone who can elevate our patient experience and streamline our systems.

THE PROSPECT

This isn't an entry-level position. We're looking for someone who has mastered the dental admin role and is ready to own it. You'll be the integral in our clinic operations.

Position Details:

- Full-time, 4-5 days/week including 1-2 Saturdays monthly. No Sundays or long weekends
- Competitive compensation reflecting your experience level
- Greet and manage patients from first contact to checkout
- Coordinate treatment plans, present financials, and arrange payment options
- Optimize provider schedules for efficiency and production
- Handle insurance estimates, pre-authorizations, and billing inquiries

WHO YOU ARE

You've seen what works, what doesn't, and you're ready to build something excellent with a team that matches your drive.

Required Experience:

- Minimum 2 years in dental administration, recall coordination, or treatment coordination
- Be prepared to discuss your performance KPIs
- Experience with patient reactivation, case presentation, treatment acceptance an asset
- Strong systems thinking—you don't just follow processes, you improve them




- Dental software proficiency (Open Dental and/or Flex Dental experience is a major bonus)

- You can read a room and adapt your approach to different patients
- You're calm under pressure and thrive in a fast-paced environment
- You take ownership of problems and solve them without being asked
- You are humble, coachable, and hungry to improve systems, not just “do the job”
- You can own the schedule: filling holes, manage recare, and protect doctor/hygiene productivity
- You've possibly trained or mentored other admin staff before
- You understand the business side of dentistry, not just the appointments
- Experience in ortho billing would be great
