Job Summary
Optometry clinic looking for a full-time Medical Receptionist. The ideal candidate should be friendly and organized, ensuring smooth daily operations of the front desk. This role requires familiarity and proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel. The Medical Receptionist must have good time-management skills and the ability to multi-task.

Responsibilities

- Greet patients warmly and manage check-in/check-out procedures
- Schedule appointments
- Verify patient insurance information and process payments accurately
- Answer the phone promptly and professionally
- Manage patient records, update information, and ensure confidentiality in compliance with PHIPA regulations
- Assist with administrative tasks including data entry, and email correspondence
- Maintain a clean and organized front desk area





Requirements (strongly recommended)

- Prior experience as a Receptionist or Healthcare experience preferred
- Proficient with Microsoft office
- Must speak English, Cantonese and Mandarin
- Ability to handle sensitive information with discretion and confidentiality
- Communication skills, both written and verbal
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced workplace while maintaining professionalism
- Available on weekends

Pay: $18.50-$22.00 per hour
