Job Summary:
Valley Granite Products is a stone fabrication shop seeking a full-time Saw & CNC Technician to join our production team. This role involves operating and maintaining a CNC bridge saw, cutting stone materials to specification, and keeping pace with high-volume production demands. Hours of work are Monday to Friday, 8:00am – 4:00pm.

Essential Functions:

- Operate and oversee CNC bridge saw machinery for precision cutting of stone slabs.
- Read and interpret job drawings, templates, and production schedules with accuracy.
- Ensure all cuts meet quality standards, dimensions, and client specifications.
- Maintain high levels of productivity to meet shop output and deadlines.
- Perform routine maintenance, troubleshooting, and cleaning of saw and CNC equipment.
- Work closely with shop staff to ensure smooth workflow and efficient use of materials.




- Adhere to company safety standards and workplace procedures.

Requirements:

- Minimum 2 years’ experience operating a CNC bridge saw in a stone fabrication environment (required).
- Strong knowledge of granite, quartz, and other stone cutting techniques.
- Ability to read and understand technical drawings and templates.
- Mechanically inclined with troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently in a fast-paced setting.
- Valid work visa/SIN number to legally work in Canada.

Compensation:

- $27.00 – $35.00 per hour, based on experience and skill level.
