The Retention Services Supervisor provides leadership in implementing KOBE's Student Success initiatives while working collaboratively with schools, students, families, communities, and KOBE staff. The Retention Services Supervisor leads initiatives that improve attendance, retention, achievement, and graduation across KOBE schools and secondary school programs.

Salary Range: $93,123 - $124,510 annually

Location: Any KOBE Office (Thunder Bay, Balmertown, Sioux Lookout, OR Dryden)

Qualifications:

- Diploma in Social Work, Education, Human Services, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- Minimum five (5) years' experience in First Nation education or student services
- Experience supporting Indigenous students and communities
- Excellent communication and leadership skills
- Valid Ontario Class G Driver's License
- Ability to travel to remote First Nation communities
- Experience with Student Information Systems

Key Responsibilities:

- Lead initiatives that improve student attendance, engagement, retention, and graduation.
- Develop culturally responsive student success strategies.
- Analyze student achievement, attendance,



and graduation data.Coordinate student success and graduation initiatives.
- Build partnerships with schools, families, and First Nations.
- Prepare reports and recommendations for senior leadership.
- Support continuous improvement across KOBE student services.

- Is passionate about Indigenous education and student success
- Has leadership experience in education, social services, or human services
- Works collaboratively with First Nations, schools, and families
- Enjoys creating and implementing cutting-edge student success programs
- Is willing to travel to remote First Nation communities and on student trips
