Overview

We are seeking a professional and organized Dental Receptionist to join our orthodontic practice in Sudbury. The ideal candidate will serve as the first point of contact for patients, providing customer service while managing administrative tasks efficiently. Prior experience in a dental setting along with proficiency in dental records, will be advantageous. Pay range is $30 to 35/hr and includes 24 paid days off annually.

Duties

- Greet and check in patients in a courteous and professional manner
- Answer, screen and direct phone calls and patient inquiries
- Verify insurance information and assist with billing and payment processing.
- Prepare and update patient charts, ensuring all necessary documentation is complete and current.
- Handle administrative tasks including data entry, filing, and correspondence.




- Assist with patient check-in and check-out procedures, including collecting payments.

Qualifications

- Previous experience as a dental receptionist or in a medical office setting is preferred.
- Proficiency with dental software such as Abeldent preferred but not necessary .
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with a focus on customer service. Our office is bilingual(English and French); fluency in both languages is preferred but not necessary.
- Experience with Microsoft 365 is preferred.

Job Types: Full time, Permanent

Pay: $30.00-$35.00 per hour
