Summary

We are seeking a dedicated Pharmacy Manager to lead our pharmacy team in delivering high-quality patient care and community health services in our local store in Canada. This role is vital in ensuring the continued success and compassionate service that Sunshine Drugs is known for.

Key Responsibilities

Leadership & Operations

- Oversee daily pharmacy operations, ensuring efficiency and high-quality patient care
- Lead, mentor, and support pharmacy staff, fostering a positive and accountable team culture
- Manage workflow, inventory control, and overall pharmacy performance

Clinical & Professional Services

- Deliver and expand professional services including:
- Medication reviews (e.g., MedsCheck programs)
- Immunizations and injections (as applicable)
- Minor ailment prescribing (within Ontario scope)




- Chronic disease management support
- Provide patient counseling and ensure optimal therapeutic outcomes

Compliance Packaging & Patient Adherence

- Oversee compliance packaging programs (blister packs, adherence packaging)
- Collaborate with patients, caregivers, and prescribers to improve medication adherence
- Ensure accuracy, safety, and timely delivery of packaged medications

Regulatory & Compliance

- Ensure full compliance with Ontario College of Pharmacists (OCP) standards and all regulatory requirements
- Maintain accurate narcotic and controlled substance records
- Uphold professional standards, policies, and procedures at all times

Collaboration & Community Engagement

- Build strong relationships with physicians, healthcare providers, and community partners
- Identify opportunities to grow pharmacy services and patient engagement
- Promote health and wellness initiatives aligned with the Sunshine Way

Qualifications

- Licensed Pharmacist in good standing with the Ontario College of Pharmacists
- Previous management or leadership experience preferred
- Strong clinical knowledge and commitment to patient-centered care
- Excellent communication, leadership, and organizational skills
- Experience with compliance packaging solutions is an asset
- Arabic-speaking is a strong asset

Job Types: Full time, Permanent

Pay: $55.00-$60.00 per hour
