Accountabilities

The AI Financial Operations Analyst will play a central role in redesigning finance operations through AI-driven automation. The role will combine financial expertise with technical problem-solving to build, maintain, and scale intelligent systems that improve efficiency, accuracy, and operational visibility.

- Build, operate, and continuously improve AI-powered automation across financial planning and analysis processes, including forecasting, budgeting, reporting, variance analysis, and month-end close workflows.
- Manage operational tax activities by monitoring obligations, maintaining schedules and documentation, and developing automation to support continuous compliance.
- Connect finance systems such as ERP, spend management, equity, HRIS, and CRM platforms through AI agents, integrations, and custom scripts.
- Design and deploy new AI workflows and automation solutions that expand the capabilities of finance operations.
- Maintain reliable, documented,



and auditable automation systems while ensuring processes remain scalable and effective.
- Identify opportunities to eliminate repetitive manual tasks and improve financial workflows through technology.
- Collaborate with finance stakeholders to enhance AI adoption and increase the team’s operational capabilities.

Requirements

The ideal candidate is a finance professional with strong FP&A; experience and proven ability to build practical AI-driven solutions. This role requires a combination of financial expertise, technical curiosity, and the ability to work independently in a fast-moving remote environment.

- Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
- 5+ years of corporate finance or FP&A; experience, including forecasting, budgeting, management reporting, and month-end close processes.
- Demonstrated hands-on experience building with AI tools, including AI agents, LLM-powered workflows, and production-level automations.
- Strong financial modeling skills and advanced spreadsheet capabilities.
- Ability to design, implement, and improve automated workflows with a focus on reliability and scalability.
- Self-motivated approach with strong ownership, problem-solving skills, and the ability to operate independently.
- Availability for collaboration and communication during required coordination hours (Monday-Friday, 9am-3pm Pacific Time).
- Experience working in technology companies or AI-focused environments is preferred.
- Familiarity with tools such as Claude, Claude Code, MCP integrations, NetSuite, Ramp, Carta, BambooHR, Salesforce, and Google Workspace is a plus.
- Experience integrating and managing workflows across ERP, spend management, equity, HRIS, CRM,



and data warehouse systems is preferred.
