I’m a small, local GC who took a bit of time off recently for family/personal reasons. Now that I'm back at it, my old clients caught wind and I've run into the "good problem" of being overbooked faster than I can ramp up. Because I’m just getting my momentum back, my usual guys are either tied up on my other sites where I'm spread thin for August, locked into fixed scopes later in some of the other jobs I have, or off doing their own thing. So right now, I need an experienced, versatile carpenter to jump in and give me a hand. This isn't a full time gig but I do have enough work that solid guys can stay fairly busy with me. Immediate need is rough framing and light structural work on a small, straightforward residential site. Once that’s dialed, there is plenty of backframing and finish carpentry here (or finish work on the site that's, literally, five minutes away).



Both sites are at Yonge & 401 Bad jokes and job-site music are always welcome, as they're all small builds it's a pretty small team. That said, we’re still skilled: we run clean sites, work with proper drawings, and cranking out decent sh*t. I'm totally cool if you just need a few days (or weeks) and you’re an independent who likes variety, wants to fill some gaps in your schedule. Would like to find someone to work with on other projects down the road though ideally. You have to have solid experience from rough structural framing for this gig but ideally can do finishing as well. Your own tools, PPE, etc. Drop a line with any questions.
