IS2 is currently recruiting for a Purchasing Coordinator on behalf of our client. This role is focused on purchasing and vendor coordination and is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys working in a process-driven environment.
Location: Mississauga, ON (Heartland Town Centre area)
Pay Rate: $25/hour
Job Type: Full-Time Contract (18-Month Maternity Leave Coverage with potential extension)
Schedule: Monday to Friday, versatile 8-hour shifts
Responsibilities
- Create and manage purchase orders
- Coordinate with vendors and suppliers
- Monitor order status and follow up on deliveries
- Resolve purchasing and order discrepancies
- Maintain accurate purchasing records
- Work closely with internal teams to support purchasing activities
Qualifications
- Approximately 2 years of purchasing experience
- Strong organizational and communication skills
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office, particularly Excel
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines
- Experience within food, health products, or consumer goods is considered an asset but is not required
