We are seeking a versatile, system-savvy Database & Business Central Specialist to take ownership of our day-to-day data operations. Our core business operations rely on Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central and SOLOCHAIN WMS, supported by external consulting partners. As we transition our environments within Business Central and advance our analytics capabilities using Microsoft Fabric, you will serve as our internal data anchor.

In this role, you will be the primary gatekeeper for data integrity between systems, the builder of our unified data pipelines, the go-to expert for internal reporting, and the direct technical contact for fulfilling customer-facing data requests. This role requires a blend of strong SQL skills, Business Central data familiarity, and a forward-thinking mindset toward up-to-date data analytics platforms.

Key Responsibilities:

- Business Central Data Management: Act as the internal subject matter expert on the Microsoft Business Central data schema. Monitor data health, map fields, and oversee data integrity during and after our Business Central migration.
- Fabric & Data Pipeline Management: Utilize Microsoft Fabric (including Data Factory, Data Warehouses) to ingest, transform, and centralize operational data from Business Central and SOLOCHAIN for unified business intelligence.
- Customer Data Support:



Serve as the primary point of contact for external client data requests. Quickly extract, format, and deliver accurate product, inventory, or transactional data sets in required formats (CSV, Excel).
- Reporting & Analytics: Build, optimize, and maintain critical internal reports and interactive dashboards using Power BI, pulling data streams directly via Microsoft Fabric and Business Central.
- System Sync & Maintenance: Troubleshoot, investigate, and resolve daily data discrepancies between Business Central and the SOLOCHAIN Warehouse Management System (WMS) to ensure inventory and order data match perfectly.

Qualifications & Education:

- Bachelor’s degree in Data Analytics, Information Systems, Computer Science, Business Intelligence, or a related field. Relevant certifications (e.g., Microsoft Certified: Data Analyst Associate, Fabric Analytics Engineer, or Business Central Functional Consultant) are a strong plus.
- Hands-on experience working with Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central (understanding its tables, page web services, and API integrations).
- Familiarity or hands-on experience with Microsoft Fabric components (Data Factory, Synapse, Data Lakes) and a strong understanding of SaaS data architecture.
- Strong proficiency in writing SQL queries, views, and data manipulation scripts.
- Proven experience building and maintaining business reports using Power BI (highly preferred).
- Good communication skills with the ability to translate external customer requests into exact data deliveries.
