Manager, Warehousing & Distribution Location: Portside Warehousing 16068 Portside Road, Richmond BC.

- Hands on style overseeing business day-to-day consolidated operations, facility, Occupational Health & Safety & administration
- Implementing operational & Human Resource policies and procedures.
- Implementing and overseeing recruiting and employee security operations.
- Delivering consistent profitability through excellent Profit & Loss management
- Can do attitude coaching and mentoring staff
- Motivating staff and agency workers through progressive management skills
- Strong Microsoft office skills and administration management auditing
- Procurement and maintenance management compliance
- Execution of all customer’s scope of work & continual improvement process management
- Super-User of the Warehouse Management System

Warehouse Manager Requirements:

- 10 years Warehouse management experience (proven track record of increasing responsibility in work history) in multi-customer warehouse exceeding 100,000 square feet




- Expert level of understanding of warehouse management procedures.
- Proficient knowledge of inventory and inventory controls.
- Outstanding communication skills, both written and strong coaching and mentoring skills
- Outstanding leadership, organizational, multitasking, and problem-solving skills.
- Strong people skills.
- Available to “get the job done”
- Entrepreneurial instincts
- Able to work with minimum supervision deliver superior results in accordance with all company rules/regulations and government legislation
- Experience in a 3rd party logistics environment
- Working within a Union Enviorment an asset but not required
