Job Overview

We are looking for a qualified Specialty Finance Director with subprime credit and leadership skills to expand our team. We have over 1,100 used vehicles, a dedicated marketing team and internal support system.

Responsibilities

- Lead and manage the dealership’s specialty finance department, ensuring efficient operations and compliance with all regulatory requirements.
- Develop a specialty finance team to nurture, qualify and sell internet leads
- Build and maintain strong relationships with financial institutions, lenders, and other partners to secure favorable terms for customers.
- Oversee the approval process for financing applications, ensuring accuracy and timeliness while maintaining strong gross profit averages.
- Collaborate with sales teams to provide training on financing options, product knowledge, and negotiation techniques.
- Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction through transparent communication, personalized service, and effective problem resolution.
- Monitor departmental performance metrics and prepare reports for executive leadership to inform strategic decisions.

Requirements

- A minimum of 2 years experience in automotive subprime




- A minimum of 2 years experience managing an automotive sales team
- Ability to deliver exceptional customer service
- Self motivated and driven attitude to succeed and push yourself to excel past targets
- Strong negotiation and closing skills
- Robust organizational and time management skills
- Excellent communication skills (both verbal and written) along with the ability to work in a team environment
- Ability to work with bank associates in a professional manner, understand bank guidelines and learn how to negotiate bank terms
- Result driven and career focused individuals with a strong desire and work ethic come move to the front of the line
- Most importantly, leadership ability to hire, train and manage a successful subprime team
