BRIMICH is a family owned and operated 3PL & warehousing company. We are a growing organization and currently looking for a Maintenance Supervisor to join our winning team in Brantford and help lead our business grow and improve.

Job Summary

This role oversees daily maintenance operations, ensuring equipment, facilities, and systems are maintained safely, efficiently, and reliably. This role provides hands-on technical leadership, assigns work to maintenance staff, manages preventive maintenance programs, and supports continuous improvement initiatives to maximize uptime and operational performance.

Essential Functions & Responsibilities:

Maintenance Leadership

- Supervise, coach, and develop maintenance technicians.
- Assign and prioritize daily work orders and PM tasks.
- Coordinate maintenance activities across shifts to ensure smooth operations.
- Provide technical troubleshooting support and escalate issues when needed.
- Monitor employee performance and ensure timely and accurate execution of all required functions.
- Maintain employee timecards within UKG and perform bi-weekly payroll approval for assigned team.

_ Preventive & Predictive Maintenance_

- Execute and optimize preventive maintenance (PM) schedules.
- Support predictive maintenance tools (vibration, thermography, oil analysis, etc.).
- Ensure PM compliance and maintain accurate documentation.

Equipment & Facility Reliability

- Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems.
- Coordinate repairs for critical equipment to minimize downtime.
- Oversee contractors and vendors during specialized maintenance activities.
- Ensure spare parts are stocked appropriately and manage inventory levels.

Safety & Compliance

- Understands and works in compliance with the Occupational Health and Safety Act




- Takes every precaution reasonable in the circumstances for the protection of a worker including identifying and correcting unsafe acts or conditions and enforcing workplace safety policies and procedures (LOTO, PPE, safe work permits).
- Conducts safety talks, audits, and actively participates in accident investigations, as required.
- Ensure equipment meets regulatory standards (electrical codes, building codes, etc.).

Continuous Improvement

- Identify opportunities to improve equipment uptime and reduce maintenance costs.
- Participate in root cause analysis (RCA) and reliability initiatives.
- Support capital projects, equipment upgrades, and process improvements.

_ Administration & Reporting_

- Review, approve, and close work orders in the CMMS.
- Track KPIs such as MTTR, MTBF, PM compliance, and downtime.
- Prepare maintenance reports and communicate performance trends to management.
- Assist with department budgeting and cost control.

Job Specifications—Education, Skills and Competencies:

- 5+ years of maintenance experience, with at least 2 years in a leadership role.
- Technical diploma or trade certification (PLC Simens PL7, electrical, millwright, HVAC, etc.) preferred.
- Certificate of Qualification (Millwright/Electrical) Red Seal 433A preferred.
- Experience in Logistics, industrial, facilities, or related environments.
- Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills.




- Strong knowledge with automation systems, especially PLCs (Siemens PL7), plus VFD drives, and sensors, Encoders, Label Print and Apply system, etc.
- Proficient with CMMS systems, maintenance planning and Microsoft Office.
- Ability to read technical drawings and schematics.
- Strong leadership & team-building abilities with excellent organizational skills.
- Excellent documentation and communication skills (verbal, written & listening).
- Ability to prioritize efficiently and manage multiple tasks in a high-paced environment.
- Solid analytical and critical thinking skills with high attention to detail.
- Thorough understanding of, and works in compliance with, HACCP and SQF programs.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $90,000.00-$110,000.00 per year
