Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Concrete Labourer to join our construction team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in concrete work, masonry, and general construction, with the ability to operate heavy equipment and use various hand and power tools. This role involves assisting with concrete forming, finishing, rebar installation, and related tasks on commercial and residential projects. Candidates should demonstrate mechanical knowledge, familiarity with blueprints and schematics, and experience in renovation or restoration projects. Responsibilities

- Assist with concrete forming, pouring, and finishing to ensure smooth, durable surfaces
- Install rebar and reinforcement materials according to project specifications
- Use hand tools and power tools for cutting, shaping, and installing materials
- Perform masonry tasks
- Follow safety protocols to maintain a secure work environment during all phases of construction
- Assist with carpentry tasks related to concrete projects and renovation efforts
- Conduct demolition or removal of old materials as needed for renovation or restoration projects
- Collaborate with team members to meet project deadlines and quality standards

Skills





- Proven experience in concrete finishing, rebar installation, masonry, or related construction fields
- Mechanical knowledge of construction equipment and tools
- Ability to operate heavy machinery safely and effectively
- Skilled in the use of hand tools (e.g., trowels, hammers) and power tools (e.g., drills, saws)
- Experience with concrete forming techniques and flooring installation
- Knowledge of welding, caulking, flooring installation, and renovation processes is a plus
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and work in physically demanding environments
- Excellent teamwork skills with a focus on safety compliance and quality workmanship

Pay: $20.00-$27.00 per hour
