What is CBE looking for:

· Member in good standing with the Law Society of British Columbia

· Call date prior to 2023

· Not less than 2 years experience working in British Columbia at a law firm

· Strong written and verbal communication skills

· Willing to work as part of a team

· Excellent work ethics

· Willing and able to contribute to promoting their practice area, developing and maintaining strong client relationships, including being available to attend or participate in functions outside of regular business hours

Role includes:

· managing and advising on a diverse caseload, exercising independent judgment

· conducting legal research and analysis to develop case strategies





· drafting legal documents, including pleadings, agreements, and opinions

· representing clients effectively in negotiations, mediations, and various court levels

· providing strategic legal counsel to clients

· staying current with developments in Canadian law and legal practice areas
