Tank Traders® is looking for an Accounts Receivable Specialist to join our team in La Salle, MB!

The Accounts Receivable Specialist will be a key team member and will focus on collections while also having the opportunity to experience other aspects of AR. In this role you will utilize strong interpersonal skills to maintain contact and follow-through with our retailers to ensure appropriate resolution. This person is well organized, has an eye for detail and can get things done accurately and efficiently. The ability to communicate with customers in French would be considered an asset, but not a requirement for this role.

A Day in the Life

- Establish contact with retailers by telephone and assist with the resolution of delinquent accounts via outbound and inbound calls.
- Negotiate payment of debts in accordance with client and company guidelines.
- Investigate and advise on different forms of payment and/or settlement options.
- Clearly document/update account notes on system to support customer activity.
- Process payments and payment applications on customer accounts.
- Handling customer inquiries.
- Working with Customer Support Department to set up and maintain customer accounts.
- Build and maintain relationships with corporate contacts through creating statements, provide support in account reconciliation.
