About the Role
We are seeking a motivated and hands-on leader to support daily operations of our Garden Centre and 50 seat Café, inspire our store team, and help create outstanding guest experiences. This role is ideal for a people-focused retail leader who is passionate about what we do, enjoys working collaboratively, and shares our commitment to our company vision while supporting financial and operational goals.

Key Responsibilities

Operations & Leadership

- Support the Store Manager with day-to-day store operations
- Supervise, train, coach, and motivate team members
- Foster a positive, inclusive, and respectful workplace by listening, encouraging open communication, and seeking solutions together
- Assist with scheduling and staff coverage

Guest Experience

- Deliver warm, knowledgeable, and welcoming service to every guest
- Resolve guest concerns with care and professionalism
- Assist guests with product selection, plant care advice, and general inquiries
- Lead by example on the sales floor

Merchandising & Inventory

- Support merchandising standards
- Assist with inventory management, receiving shipments,



and stock organization
- Help maintain plant health, quality, and presentation throughout the store

Sales & Performance

- Support sales goals and promotional initiatives
- Monitor store performance and identify opportunities for improvement
- Ensure company’s policies and procedures are followed
- Utilize Microsoft Office & POS system for sales reporting and analysis

Other Requirements

- Flexibility to work a variety of shifts including weekends, and holidays
- Ability to walk and stand for extended periods
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work comfortably in various weather conditions

Job type & Compensation

- Full-time, Salaried Position, $65K per year
