ob Summary:

We are looking for a reliable and customer-focused Convenience Store Attendant to join our team. The ideal candidate has prior experience handling lottery sales and is comfortable managing transactions accurately and efficiently in a fast-paced retail environment.

Key Responsibilities:

- Provide friendly and efficient customer service
- Operate cash register, handle cash, debit/credit, and lottery transactions
- Handle OLG lottery ticket sales, validations, payouts, and terminal maintenance, ensuring compliance with regulations
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the store (sweeping, mopping, garbage, etc.)
- Stock shelves and monitor inventory levels
- Verify ID for age-restricted purchases
- Handle customer inquiries and resolve issues professionally
- Follow all store policies and safety procedure
- Perform opening or closing duties as required
- Monitor for theft or suspicious activity and follow store protocols




- Follow all health & safety and security procedures

Requirements:

- Previous convenience store or retail experience mandatory
- Prior lottery sales experience is mandatory
- Strong numerical and cash-handling skills
- Attention to detail and accuracy in transactions
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Flexible availability, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Must be 18+ years of age (OLG regulation)
