Childcare Center Supervisor

Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Childcare Center Supervisor to lead and oversee daily operations at our childcare facility. The ideal candidate will be passionate about early childhood education, committed to providing a safe and nurturing workplace, and skilled in managing staff and engaging with children of various ages. This role offers an opportunity to make a meaningful impact on children's development while ensuring the smooth functioning of our center.

Responsibilities

- Supervise and support classroom staff to ensure high-quality care and educational activities
- Develop and implement age-appropriate curriculum plans that promote learning and development
- Ensure compliance with all licensing regulations, safety standards, and center policies
- Foster a positive, inclusive, and engaging environment for children and staff
- Coordinate daily schedules, activities, and special events
- Communicate effectively with parents regarding children's progress, behavior, and needs
- Manage administrative tasks such as attendance records, incident reports, and staff scheduling
- Provide mentorship and ongoing training to staff members to enhance their caregiving skills
- Assist in recruiting,



hiring, and evaluating staff performance

Requirements

- Prior classroom experience in early childhood education or childcare settings
- Experience working with children with disabilities or special needs is highly desirable
- Strong knowledge of early childhood development principles and teaching methods
- Demonstrated caregiving skills with a compassionate and patient approach
- Ability to lead a team effectively while maintaining a nurturing environment
- Excellent communication skills for interacting with children, parents, and staff
- Relevant certifications in early childhood education or childcare management preferred
- Commitment to creating an inclusive environment that supports diverse needs of children
- Ability to pass background checks and meet licensing requirements for childcare providers

Pay: $26.00-$31.00 per hour

Licence/Certification:
