Overview
We are seeking a motivated and dependable Mechanic Helper to join our maintenance team. This entry-level position offers an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience in mechanical repair and maintenance within a dynamic work environment. The ideal candidate will assist experienced mechanics in diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining equipment, contributing to the smooth operation of our facilities. Responsibilities
- Assist licensed mechanics with routine maintenance and repairs on machinery and equipment
- Support in diagnosing mechanical issues using basic tools and techniques
- Help disassemble, clean, and reassemble parts during repair processes
- Maintain a clean and organized work area to ensure safety and efficiency
- Follow safety protocols and wear appropriate protective gear at all times
- Assist in inventory management by organizing tools and replacement parts
- Perform general labor tasks as directed by senior mechanics or supervisors
Experience
- Prior experience in mechanical or technical fields is a plus but not required; on-the-job training will be provided
- Basic understanding of mechanical systems or tools is beneficial
- Strong willingness to learn new skills and develop technical knowledge
- Ability to follow instructions carefully and work effectively as part of a team
- Positive communication skills and attention to detail are essential
