Job Summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented and strategic Procurement Specialist to join our supply chain team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for sourcing, purchasing, and managing vendor relationships to ensure the timely and cost-effective acquisition of materials and services. This role requires a strong understanding of procurement processes within manufacturing environments. The Procurement Specialist will play a vital role in optimizing supply chain operations, maintaining vendor performance, and supporting overall production efficiency.
What You'll Do
- Develop and execute sourcing strategies to identify reliable vendors and suppliers aligned with company needs.
- Negotiate pricing, terms, and contracts with vendors to secure favorable conditions while maintaining quality standards.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including manufacturing, logistics, and quality assurance to forecast demand and plan procurement accordingly.
- Monitor vendor performance through regular evaluations and maintain strong vendor relationships to ensure supply continuity.
- Analyze market trends and pricing data to make informed purchasing decisions that optimize costs.
- Coordinate with suppliers to ensure timely delivery of materials in accordance with production schedules.
- Maintain accurate records of purchase orders, contracts, and procurement documentation in compliance with company policies.
What We're Looking For
- Bilingual - Mandarin and English.
- 3+ years of procurement experience in a fast-paced manufacturing industry.
Requirements
- Proven experience in procurement within a manufacturing or supply chain environment.
- Familiarity with sourcing strategies, vendor management, and negotiation techniques.
- Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret pricing data and market trends.
- Effective communication skills for negotiating with vendors and collaborating across departments.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced workplace while maintaining attention to detail.
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or related field preferred; relevant experience may substitute education requirements.
