Reporting to the Hospitality Manager, you will be responsible for bringing forward the needs and concerns of residents. You will also be responsible for signing for supplies and assisting with delivery of resident meals including pouring beverages, transporting dirty dishes, and setting tables for meal service.
You must be experienced in institutional food service experience. Grade 10 education. Food Safe 1 is required (post July 29, 2013)
or equivalent for BC employees and Food Safety Basic or equivalent for Alberta employees. Experience working with the elderly and experience in basic food preparation preferred. You are able to communicate in English both verbally and in writing so others can easily interpret and understand it fully.
Requirements:
- A current and clear Criminal Records Check Form and if applicable a Vulnerable Sector Check that has been obtained no more than 90 calendar days prior to the hire date.
- A tuberculosis screening that has been completed no more than 12 months prior to the hire date.
