Responsibilities:
- Safely operate forklifts and other material handling equipment in accordance with established safety and operational guidelines
- Adhere to all safety protocols and regulations to prevent accidents and injuries
- Load, unload, and transport finished goods and raw materials throughout the facility
- Supply production lines with required raw materials in a timely manner
- Remove finished product from production lines and place in designated storage areas
- Perform routine inspections on forklifts and equipment; report defects or maintenance needs promptly
- Handle materials carefully to prevent product damage and maintain quality standards
- Ensure proper stacking, storage, and organization of materials and finished goods
- Conduct weekly line sanitation as scheduled
- Assist production lines as needed throughout the shift
- Work collaboratively with team members and supervisors to meet operational goals
Education / Skills / Experience Required:
- Minimum 1+ years of proven forklift operating experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment (required)
- Valid forklift license/certification (Counterbalance required; Reach/Walkie considered an asset)
- Experience operating heavy material handling equipment in a fast-paced production setting is an asset
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety
- Ability to work both independently and within a team environment
