Travel Requirements (Important):

Extensive travel throughout Canada, the U.S., and the Caribbean. Typical project rotations are 2–3 weeks on-site, followed by scheduled idle time at home with 70% Idle pay. Candidates should also be flexible to support longer-term projects of up to 10 weeks when required.

About the Role - We are seeking an experienced Installation Foreman with Thermite Welding experience to lead field installation projects involving crane rail systems and specialty rail applications. This is a hands-on leadership role responsible for supervising crews, ensuring quality installations, maintaining safety standards, and coordinating projects from start to finish.

Responsibilities

- Lead and supervise installation crews on rail and crane system projects.
- Perform and oversee thermite welding and specialty rail installations.




- Coordinate daily site activities and ensure projects are completed safely and on schedule.
- Conduct quality inspections and troubleshoot installation issues.
- Work closely with engineering, project management, and production teams.
- Mentor and support field crews while maintaining a safe work environment.

Requirements

- Experience leading installation crews in industrial construction or rail projects.
- Hands-on experience with thermite welding and rail installation.
- Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Willingness to travel extensively throughout Canada and internationally.
- Valid passport and legal eligibility to work in Canada.
