Job description:

We are looking for an experienced Sterile and Non-Sterile Compounding Assistant to join our team at Origins Pharmacy & Compounding Lab. This unique role supports both our sterile, non-sterile compounding lab and retail pharmacy operations, offering variety and opportunities for skill development.

- Wage can be negotiated based on experience

Responsibilities:

- Prepare and compound sterile medications following NAPRA guidelines.
- Maintain a sterile, safe compounding environment (Sterile compounding).
- Perform quality control checks and ensure accurate documentation.
- Assist pharmacists and technicians in preparing non-sterile compounded medications (Levels A, B, and C)
- Accurately measure, weigh, and mix ingredients according to SOPs, master formulations, and risk assessments
- Maintain a clean, organized, and compliant compounding environment
- Label and package prescriptions with accuracy and care
- Support inventory management of raw materials,



supplies, and retail products
- Uphold all safety, confidentiality, and regulatory standards

Qualifications:

- Knowledgeable in sterile and non-sterile compounding and pharmaceutical calculations.
- Sterile and Non-sterile compounding experience is a must
- Proficiency in Kroll (pharmacy software) is an asset
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- 5 years of experience is preferred
- Ability to follow established procedures and work accurately in a fast-paced workplace
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
- ·Comfort with pharmacy software and computer systems are an advantage
