We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Serbian or Croatian speaking Certified Personal Support Worker (PSW) to provide exceptional care to clients in a home or assisted living setting. The ideal candidate will be fluent in Serbian or Croatian and possess a strong background in senior care, disability support, and medication administration. Responsibilities

- Provide personal care and support to seniors or individuals with disabilities, including assistance with bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility.
- Administer medications accurately according to care plans and document all medication-related activities.
- Assist with meal preparation, ensuring nutritional needs are met and dietary restrictions are followed.
- Support clients with activities of daily living such as toileting, transferring, and ambulation.
- Perform light housekeeping duties including cleaning and maintaining a safe environment for clients.
- Engage clients in meaningful activities to promote mental and emotional well-being.
- Communicate effectively with clients,



family members, and healthcare team members in Serbian or Croatian to ensure seamless care delivery.
- Monitor clients’ health status and report any changes or concerns promptly to supervisors or healthcare professionals.

Skills

- Fluency in Serbian or Croatian is essential for effective communication with clients and their families.
- Prior experience in assisted living, nursing homes, or home care is highly preferred.
- Knowledge of senior care practices, dementia care, and working with individuals with disabilities is advantageous.
- Ability to administer medications safely and follow detailed care plans.
- Strong caregiving skills with a compassionate approach towards vulnerable populations.
- Excellent organizational skills for managing multiple tasks such as meal prep, cleaning, and personal support activities.
- Ability to work independently while maintaining professionalism and empathy at all times.
- Flexibility to adapt to different client needs and situations within a home or assisted living environment.
