We are currently seeking an experienced Part-Time / Full-Time Pizza Cook, Line Cook.

We are a neighbourhood gastro market offering scratch-made prepared entrées, sauces, soups, and more. We also double as a quick service take-out restaurant serving hot/cold sandwiches, pizza, hot entrées, pastry and bread.

Position is currently Part-Time (20-40hrs per week), with the possibility to extend into Full-Time with staff time off requests / natural business progression.

Hourly compensation starts at $19.00 - $21.00/hour. Successful candidates will be included in our staff tip pool, which typically pays back of house employees an additional $3-$5/hour.

Duties:
- Cook food orders in a timely manner
- Assist with food preparation tasks such as chopping vegetables, deli slicing, etc.
- Follow proper food handling and safety procedures to ensure the cleanliness and sanitation of the kitchen
- Collaborate with the kitchen team to ensure timely order fulfillment / adequate stocking of retail coolers
- Maintain a clean and organized kitchen

Qualifications:
- Previous experience in a food service or restaurant setting is required




- Knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow direction
- Professional reference is a recommended asset
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed

- Pizza / Bread making experience
