Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and motivated Line Cook/Prep Cook to join our culinary team. This role is essential in preparing high-quality food items, supporting the kitchen operations, and ensuring an exceptional dining experience for our guests. The ideal candidate will have a passion for food preparation, excellent food safety practices, and experience in a fast-paced restaurant environment.

Duties

- Prepare and assemble menu items according to recipes and quality standards
- Assist with food prep tasks such as chopping, marinating, and portioning ingredients
- Cook dishes with precision, ensuring proper presentation and taste
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of workstations and kitchen equipment
- Follow food safety protocols to ensure proper handling, storage, and sanitation of ingredients
- Support the serving staff by ensuring timely delivery of prepared dishes
- Monitor inventory levels and communicate supply needs to management
- Adhere to all restaurant policies and procedures related to food handling and safety





Requirements

- Prior experience in food service, restaurant, or kitchen setting preferred
- Knowledge of food preparation techniques, cooking methods, and meal assembly
- Understanding of food safety standards and proper food handling procedures
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced setting while maintaining attention to detail
- Strong teamwork skills and a positive attitude
- Flexibility to work various shifts including weekends or evenings as needed
- Basic knife skills and familiarity with kitchen equipment are a plus

Pay: $16.75-$18.00 per hour
