Summary of responsibilities:

The Advisor, Employee Experience is responsible for providing advice, guidance, and recommendations across a broad range of human resources programs and services. The role manages employee leave administration, accommodations, return to work processes, and disability management, while also leading onboarding for new hires and providing HR support across the employee lifecycle. Working in close partnership with managers, employees, and the broader HR team as well as external partners, the Advisor plays a key role in providing essential HR support across the organization ensuring alignment with all HR programs, legislative requirements, organizational priorities and operational needs. The Advisor, Employee Experience performs all other duties and responsibilities related to the position as required.

What you need to succeed

To qualify for the position, you must have:





- Graduation from a recognized college or university with a specialization in Human Resources, Business Administration, or another specialty relevant to the duties of the position.

- A minimum of four (4) years of experience providing advisory services on HR issues.

- A minimum of three (3) years of experience in disability management, leave administration, or workplace accommodations.

- Experience supporting the development or delivery of programs, policies, and procedures in an HR environment.

- Experience in forming, leading, and facilitating meetings and work groups.

- Experience managing multiple files in a fast-paced environment.

- Ability to use a variety of software applications such as Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.

- Strong working knowledge of the Canada Labour Code, the Canadian Human Rights Act, and the Accessible Canada Act

- Ability to prioritize and multi-task; plan and organize work.

- Ability to influence and build strong client relationships with managers and employees.

- High level of confidentiality, professionalism, and empathy

- Sound judgement and problem-solving skills.

Valuable skills include:

- Certified Disability Management Professional (CDMP) designation or equivalent

- Certified Human Resources Professional (CHRP) designation

Specific work requirements

- Language Profile: BBBB;

- Ability to obtain and maintain a Reliability security clearance
