Pay: $18.50–$19.50 per hour (depending on experience)
We are hiring a Screen Maker for a clothing warehouse specializing in apparel screen printing. This role is responsible for preparing, cleaning, and maintaining screens used to print designs on garments such as T-shirts, hoodies, uniforms, and other apparel.
The ideal candidate is reliable, detail-oriented, and able to work efficiently in a fast-paced production environment.
Responsibilities
- Remove ink and emulsion from used screens.
- Clean and pressure wash screens thoroughly.
- Dry screens before the coating process.
- Apply emulsion evenly to screens.
- Inspect screens for quality and ensure they are ready for production.
- Store and organize screens properly.
- Maintain a clean and protected work area.
- Follow all workplace health and safety procedures.
- Assist with other warehouse and production tasks as required.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in screen making or screen printing is an asset but not required.
- Experience working in a clothing, apparel, or printing environment is an asset.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and perform repetitive tasks.
- Comfortable working with cleaning chemicals and pressure washing equipment.
- Strong attention to detail and good organizational skills.
- Reliable, punctual, and a team player.
- Must be legally eligible to work in Canada.
Schedule:
- Monday to Friday
- 8-hour afternoon shift
- Overtime available when required
