Island Heights Construction Ltd., is a licensed residential and commercial builder serving Vancouver Island, working across residential new construction and renovation, and commercial construction projects.

We're looking for a Project Manager to drive projects from concept to completion, ensuring quality, schedule, and budget standards are met on every job.

Note: While a pay range is outlined, final compensation will be commensurate with experience and qualifications.

What You'll Do:

- Manage projects end-to-end across residential and commercial work, including new construction, renovation, maintenance, and repairs.
- Oversee schedule, budget, and quality control on assigned projects.
- Coordinate subtrades, suppliers, and field crews to keep projects on track.
- Ensure compliance with construction codes, regulations, and safety requirements.
- Resolve conflicts and make judgment calls independently with minimal supervision.
- Maintain client relationships and represent IHC's standards on-site.

What We're Looking For:

- 3+ years of experience as a Project Manager in the construction industry
- Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or related field an asset, not required if experience supports it




- PMP certification or similar an asset
- In-depth understanding of construction processes, codes, and regulations
- Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills
- Proficiency with project management software (Buildertrend an asset)
- Familiarity with CSI MasterFormat divisions
- Familiarity with AACE International cost estimate classification (Class 1-5) an asset for commercial work
- Detail-oriented, able to manage multiple priorities and deadlines under pressure
- Reliable, values-driven, team-oriented, client-focused
- Valid driver's license required; own transportation an asset; willingness to travel as needed
