Core Responsibilities

* Deliver compassionate, comprehensive nursing care to residents in long-term care and community health environments.

* Administer medications and treatments safely in compliance with regulatory standards.

* Monitor, record,



and report changes in patient conditions using digital charting systems (e.g., PointClickCare).

* Collaborate closely with physicians, family members, and an interdisciplinary care team to support wellness goals.

* Respect and uphold cultural protocols, community dynamics, and patient diversity in all care environments.

Required Qualifications & Licences

* Dual Licensure : Active registration in good standing with both the College of Nurses of Ontario (CNO) and the Ordre des infirmières et infirmiers auxiliaires du Québec (OIIQ).

* Experience: Minimum of 1 year of experience as an RPN/LPN, preferably within a long-term care, retirement, or community nursing setting.

* Certifications: Current CPR / BLS (Health Care Provider Level) and Standard First Aid.

* Clearances: Up-to-date immunizations (including TB testing) and a valid Vulnerable Sector Criminal Record Check acceptable for both Ontario and Quebec placements.

* Assets: knowledge or appreciation of the Akwesasne community and Mohawk culture.

Schedule:

* 8-hour shifts / 12-hour shifts

* Day, evening, and night availability

* Weekends and holidays optional
