MAIN ROLE: Event Floral Designer, Wedding Floral Designer

POSITION INCLUDE:

- Working on our floral studio and/or events on site
- Flower processing, preparation, cleaning, organizing
- Designing: skills to create hand tied bouquets, vase arrangements, along with other wedding installations and event flowers
- Loading / unloading / delivery / setup / pickup
- Coordinate event logistics, setup and tear down
- Handle product sourcing, communicate with suppliers and other business partners.
- Creative and hard working, this job is for a designer with experience in a retail flower shop or events with at least 2 years of design experience, who understands the daily requirements of receiving, processing and maintaining flowers and the physical demands that go along with the work in the event floral designing.
- Customer service tasks (this is optional – if you’re comfortable with this we can provide training. Responding to online/phone inquiries, quote creation, payment processing.).

QUALIFICATIONS

- A completed relevant degree/diploma from a recognized college/university program
- Must be a quick thinker and problem solver
- Competent in Microsoft office program eg. Word,



Excel, and Powerpoint Detail oriented with strong organizational skills
- Deadline-focused ability to manage multiple tasks/projects simultaneously
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Positive attitude with an ability to take initiative
- Ability to collaborate with internal staff and external clients at all levels
- The ability to be flexible and respond well to change
- Customer-focused work ethics
- Have excellent communication, motivational and team player skills
- Punctual, detail-oriented, well-organized
- Ability to work in a fast-paced retail setting, inclusive of maintaining the store
- Gets stuff done quickly, efficiently, and without first being asked or needing
- Must be dependable and able to work on weekdays as well as weekends
- G licence is a bonus

Depends on the level of experience
