Link-In Business Services is growing bookkeeping and financial administration business serving small wineries. Our focus is providing accurate bookkeeping, financial reporting, payroll, government remittances, and administrative support while building long-term relationships with our clients.

As our client base continues to grow, we are seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Part-Time Bookkeeper to join our team. This position offers flexibility, ongoing learning opportunities, and significant potential for increased hours and long-term career growth.

Due to the confidential nature of our work, the successful candidate will be required to sign a Non-Disclosure Agreement (NDA) and maintain strict confidentiality of all client information.

Reporting directly to the owner, the Part-Time Accounting Technician will assist with day-to-day bookkeeping functions for multiple clients.

The successful candidate will be highly organized, enjoy working independently, possess robust attention to detail, and be comfortable managing multiple priorities while maintaining exceptional accuracy.

This position begins on a part-time basis with the opportunity to expand into additional hours and responsibilities as the business continues to grow.

Location: Niagara Region, Ontario (Hybrid/Remote options available depending on experience)

Employment Type: Permanent Part-Time

Hours: Approximately 2-3 hours per week to start (versatile schedule)

Key ResponsibilitiesBookkeeping & Accounting

- Perform full-cycle bookkeeping for multiple clients
- Process Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable
- Record daily financial transactions
- Perform bank and credit card reconciliations




- Prepare and post journal entries
- Maintain accurate general ledger accounts
- Assist with month-end and year-end procedures
- Prepare financial reports as required
- Monitor outstanding receivables and follow up when necessary
- Maintain organized electronic client files

Payroll & Government Reporting

- Process payroll for client businesses
- Prepare payroll remittances
- Prepare and file HST returns
- Assist with WSIB, CRA, and other government reporting requirements
- Prepare documentation requested by accountants or government agencies

Client Support

- Communicate professionally with clients regarding bookkeeping requests
- Work directly with external accountants when required
- Assist with gathering year-end information
- Maintain confidentiality of all financial records

Administrative Support

- Organize electronic documentation
- Assist with workflow management
- Identify opportunities to improve bookkeeping processes
- Perform general administrative duties as required

Qualifications

We're looking for someone who enjoys accounting, solving problems, and helping businesses succeed.

Required

- Minimum 2 years bookkeeping experience
- Experience performing full-cycle bookkeeping
- Robust knowledge of QuickBooks Online
- Excellent Microsoft Excel skills
- High level of accuracy and attention to detail
- Strong organizational and time-management skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication
- Ability to work independently
- Ability to prioritize multiple clients and deadlines
- High level of professionalism and confidentiality

Assets

- Diploma or Certificate in Accounting or Bookkeeping
- Payroll experience
- Knowledge of Canadian payroll legislation
- Experience with CRA remittances
- Experience with cloud accounting software
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office 365
- Experience with document management software
