Busy manufacturing facility in Kingsville is in need of several Machine Operators for an upcoming contract role, STARTING ASAP and running until approximately October 1st. One week of training will take place on the day shift, followed by working on a steady midnight shift -
Compensation & Schedule
· Wage: $25.66/hour
· 8-hour shifts
· Midnight shift (currently)
· Standard workweek of 40 hours; overtime and additional hours may be required based on production requirements.
· Flexibility to work other shifts may be required
· Work Location: Kingsville, Ontario (In Person)
Key Responsibilities
· Operate grinding, shot peening, presses and other equipment
· Perform basic machine setup and adjustments.
· Inspect parts to ensure quality standards are met.
· Use measuring tools such as gauges,
calipers and micrometers.
· Complete production documentation.
· Maintain a clean and safe work area.
· Follow all company safety, quality and environmental procedures.
· This position may include other duties as required.
Qualifications
· Manufacturing experience preferred.
· Mechanical aptitude.
· Ability to perform the physical requirements of a manufacturing environment.
· Ability to read measuring devices (micrometers/verniers) is an asset.
· Reliable transportation.
· Ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing setting.
