Certified Cardiovascular Technologist ( Canadian Certification Required)

Permanent full time or part time , possible share between two clinics in GTA:

1. Keele and Sheppard

2. Yonge and Lawrence

Casual work on Saturdays

Position Description:

- Perform Stress Echoes, Stress tests, and preliminary report creation
- Performing ECGs
- Holter monitor set-up, hook-up
- Assist Sonographer during contrast echo
- Successfully perform IV insertions for contrast studies (can be trained)
- Monitoring supplies and crash cart medications
- Assists with equipment quality assurance and ordering departmental supplies
- Maintain examination rooms and work areas clean

Position Requirements:

- Pending or current registration with the Canadian Society of Cardiology Technologists
- New graduates of Cardiovascular Technologist programs are welcomed




- Current CPR Level C is mandatory
- Ability to perform IV insertion for contrast agent injection (can be trained). Phlebotomy/Venipuncture certification is not required but considered an asset.
- Preferable clinical experience with IV/Contrast, ECG, GXT and Stress Echo
- Excellent communication skills
- Accountability
- Punctuality

Job Types: Full time, Part-time, Permanent

Pay: From $30.00 per hour

Experience:

- Cardiovascular Tech: 1 year (preferred)
- IV/Contrast: 1 year (preferred)

Licence/Certification:

- Canadian Society of Cardiology Technologist certificate (required)
