We are looking for a dependable and hardworking Auto Parts Yard & Office Assistant to join our team. This role combines office-based responsibilities with hands-on work in our auto parts yard.

Responsibilities

- Create and manage online vehicle listings and car postings.
- Load, organize, and track vehicles and auto parts.
- Perform general yard maintenance and yard work.
- Identify, sort, and inventory automotive parts.
- Assist with vehicle dismantling and parts removal.
- Move, organize, and handle automotive parts safely.
- Maintain inventory records and support office operations.
- Use inventory and auto parts systems as required.
- Keep the yard organized, clean, and safe.

Requirements

- Knowledge of automotive parts and vehicle components is required.
- Experience with vehicle dismantling is an asset.
- Ability to lift, move, and organize automotive parts.
- Basic computer skills for online postings and office tasks.
- Strong organizational and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Valid driver’s license is an asset.
- Must be reliable, punctual, and physically capable of performing manual tasks.

Schedule

This is a full-time position with an alternating work schedule:

Week 1: Monday, Tuesday, Thursday,



Friday, Saturday
(Wednesday and Sunday off)

Week 2: Monday to Friday
(Saturday and Sunday off)

The schedule alternates between these two weeks on an ongoing basis.

Hours: 40–45 hours per week.

Additional Requirements

- Must be available to work year-round in all seasons, including summer, fall, winter, and spring.
- This position requires working outdoors in various weather conditions.
- Must be comfortable performing yard work and handling automotive parts outside.
- Ability to work safely in both office and outdoor environments.

A Preferred Skills (Asset)

- Can safely operate a forklift, loader, and skid steer.
- Previous experience operating heavy equipment is an asset.
